Overview
We’re hiring a Calypso Engineer to join our team onsite in Dubai!
Location & Eligibility
This is a full-time, office-based role in Dubai.
We are currently considering candidates who are already based in the UAE, as well as professionals residing in Russia, Armenia, or Georgia who are open to relocating.
This focus reflects our current visa processing options, relocation support logistics, and regional compliance requirements.
Language Requirement
- Fluency in Russian is required, as you will collaborate daily with Russian-speaking team members and key stakeholders on live projects.
- Strong English communication skills are also important for working in an international environment.
- What we’re looking for (expertise level)
- We’re looking for a senior-level Calypso specialist who can confidently own solutions end‑to‑end in a front‑office–oriented environment:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Calypso platform (development, customization, or implementation)
- Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and APIs, workflows, scheduled tasks, and engines
- Experience across the trade lifecycle: booking, validation, enrichment, settlement, accounting, reporting
- Solid exposure to Equity and Treasury products (FX/MM, Bonds, Repo, IRS, CCS, CDS)
- Core Java and Oracle DB experience, plus understanding of REST APIs
- Experience with FIX and/or Kafka in trading or integration contexts is a strong plus
- Core profile
- Hands-on experience with Calypso (development, implementation, or production support)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite, cross-functional team in Dubai
- Proactive, business‑oriented mindset and readiness to work closely with Front Office / Treasury / Risk
