Responsibilities
- Own and manage strategic direction, development, and performance of assigned beauty and personal care product category
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and cost structures to inform decision making
- Lead category reviews evaluating portfolio performance and innovation opportunities
- Coordinate with global sourcing teams in China and Korea to secure best pricing and manufacturing solutions
- Present regular category business reviews and KPI dashboards to leadership
- Lead and mentor Product Innovation Specialists and Product Developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product development, category management, global sourcing, or merchandising
- At least 2 years in a leadership or category ownership role
- Strong understanding of global sourcing, cost management, and category innovation processes
- Proficiency in data analysis and ERP/PLM systems
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally

Role Summary
- We are seeking a Product Development Manager to drive strategy and build a culture of innovation across the NPD function.
In this role, you will
- Own and manage strategic direction, development, and performance of assigned category.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and cost structures.
- Analyze category performance to assess product viability and pricing strategy.
- Own NPD stage gate governance and decision making processes.
- Lead category reviews evaluating portfolio performance and innovation opportunities.
- Develop annual category growth strategies and roadmaps.
- Own category level KPI performance.
- Present regular category business reviews to leadership.
- Coordinate with global sourcing teams in China and Korea.
- Build and maintain global supplier network.
- Work with AI Beauty Intelligence team to integrate data driven insights.
- Serve as backup to product development team.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product development, category management, global sourcing, or merchandising.
- At least 2 years in a leadership or category ownership role.
- Strong understanding of global sourcing and cost management.
- Experience collaborating with Sales teams and clients.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor cross functional teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and ERP/PLM systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective communicator.
- Collaborative and decisive leadership style.
- Creative eye for market trends and consumer behaviour.
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
