As a Product Development Engineer , you will contribute to the design and development of commercial refrigeration equipment—including condensing units, unit coolers, and air-cooled condensers.
will include supporting production through maintenance engineering, conducting product investigations in response to customer inquiries, and implementing and testing refrigeration control systems.
You will size and select system components such as compressors, valves, air movers, motors, and heat exchangers, as well as design refrigerant piping systems.
Additional duties include calculating refrigeration loads based on refrigerant properties, developing test procedures for new units, and qualifying equipment to meet relevant agency certification requirements.

This is a salaried exempt role.
We are open to hiring at either a Level II or Level III for this position.
The starting salary range for this role and market is between $79,000 - $127,000 annually.
Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.
