Product Development Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

3–5 years of experience in product design and development, preferably involving connectors, cable assemblies, or electromechanical products.

Experience using 3D CAD tools, preferably Siemens NX (UG NX).

Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, and engineering validation techniques.

Understanding of product development processes and design for manufacturing/assembly (DFM/DFA) principles.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams.

Experience developing automotive connectors, cable assemblies, or high-speed data connectivity products.

Knowledge of FEA interpretation and engineering simulation results.

Experience with systematic problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.

Familiarity with Teamcenter and Polarion platforms.

Experience working directly with customers on design reviews and technical discussions.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes involving plastics, sheet metal, castings, and related component technologies.

Exposure to APQP, Six Sigma, TQM, ISO, and other quality management systems.

Experience supporting global product launches and manufacturing operations.
