Product Analyst

Position Summary

Operational Execution

• Understand and communicate client needs, issues, operating rules, data structures, and standard operating procedures.
• Execute predefined procedures, suggest improvements, and implement workflow improvements with Senior Data Analysts and Product Owners.
• Assist Product Owners in streamlining idea-to-development and technical requirements processes.

Product Development

• Enhance and maintain data products by understanding data, offerings, client needs, and business goals.
• Support product development and execution and maintain product roadmap documentation.
• Create technical requirements, user stories, test plans, and solution documentation using Agile methods.

Data Analysis

• Compare datasets and inputs to assess data quality and derive actionable insights.
• Apply quality checks and validations to product delivery and report results with summaries for internal teams and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Coordinate with stakeholders across time zones to support delivery within timelines.
• Support engineering teams with knowledge transfer and testing of new procedures and enhancements.
• Partner with Engagement and Product Owners to understand client needs and write comprehensive user stories.

Project Management and Research

• Manage multiple client tasks and unplanned work while balancing deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Conduct secondary research on markets, competitors, and best practices.
• Coordinate design sessions, investigate issues, and recommend process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics and communication, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience using data tools such as SQL and Excel.
• Detail orientation with a strong focus on quality, analytics, and operations.
• Ability to work with global teams across different time zones.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, presentation, collaboration, and task-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceuticals, managed markets consulting, analytics consulting, managed care, or analytics is advantageous.
• A master’s degree, MBA, PGDM, or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in product development, product management, or operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of US healthcare, payer/provider datasets, and managed care analytics is preferred.
• Familiarity with Retool, Power BI, and Power Query is preferred.
