Procurement Supervisor

Role Overview

Main Responsibilities

• Buy materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining quality standards.
• Locate vendors, assess product availability, and determine sales terms.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Coordinate with accounts payable to ensure timely supplier payments.
• Report aged payments and follow up to close outstanding cases.
• Report procurement KPIs and analyze deviations from targets.
• Follow up audit action plans and close open items on time.
• Develop payment terms with suppliers and reduce cash purchasing.
• Update the price matrix monthly and maintain current supplier records.
• Report supplier evaluations and maintain proper records.
• Identify risks related to price increases and material shortages.
• Implement procurement policies, manage purchase order compliance, maintain supplier coverage, and resolve supplier issues.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five to eight years of procurement experience.
• Experience with foreign and local purchasing processes.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia.
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, particularly in packaging or a similar sector.

• Participate in developing specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
