Procurement Specialist

Analyze spend, supplier, commodity, and market data to identify savings opportunities, risks, and procurement insights.

Assess vendor cost increase requests through commodity and market analysis, providing fact-based recommendations to support stakeholder negotiations.

Develop reporting and presentations that communicate sourcing activity, cost impacts, supplier performance, risks, and opportunities.

Support cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and continuous value improvement initiatives.

Support Procurement leadership by tracking savings opportunities, cost impacts, risks, and priority initiatives across assigned categories.

Support the review of supplier proposals, contracts, and commercial terms in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders.

Maintain procurement templates, documentation, and governance processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and audit readiness.

Ensure supplier engagements align with company policies, procurement standards, and code of conduct requirements.

Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement intake, sourcing, approval, contract, and documentation requirements.

Act as a key liaison between Procurement, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and external suppliers.

Support cross-functional initiatives by providing procurement expertise, analysis, and project coordination.

Support exception-based event or project purchasing by calculating one-time order requirements based on stakeholder forecasts and approved business needs.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Provide regular status updates on sourcing initiatives, category activity, supplier issues, risks, and open actions to Procurement leadership and business stakeholders.

2–4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, procurement analytics, merchandising, finance, or a related field.

Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
