Role Overview
• Analyze procurement, supplier, and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Procurement teams on strategic projects that support sourcing, supplier management, operational excellence, and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop reports, presentations, and communications that help translate data and insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Support cross-functional projects by collaborating with Procurement professionals, business stakeholders, and supplier partners.
• Assist in the development of tools, templates, training materials, and best practices that enable Procurement teams to work more effectively.
• Contribute to process improvement and change management initiatives designed to drive efficiency, consistency, and value across the Procurement organization.
• Participate in sourcing and supplier-related activities, including spend analysis, market research, supplier evaluations, and competitive bid events.
• Present project updates, recommendations, and outcomes to Procurement leaders and business partners.
• Gain exposure to multiple areas of Procurement, including Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Analytics, Contracting, Procurement Operations, and Procurement Enablement.
• Complete a final presentation and deliver recommendations that create meaningful business value while building professional, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Must be pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, graduating between fall 2027 and spring 2028
• Must be able to work in the Richfield, MN corporate office 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-5pm (Central Time)
• Must be able to commit to the internship start and end date of 5/31/2027- 8/6/2027
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
