Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Identify suitable vendors and evaluate supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and analyze spend data.
- Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in procurement processes, including end to end sourcing and purchasing activities.
- Experience handling purchase orders and managing related documentation and approvals.
- Strong capabilities in supplier evaluation, vendor relationship management, and performance monitoring.
- Proven skills in contract negotiation, including pricing, terms, and service level agreements.
- Solid analytical skills to assess cost, quality, and risk, and to support data driven decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in standard office and procurement tools.

Role Description
- The Procurement Specialist will play a key role in sourcing and managing suppliers to support The Social Room’s marketing and operational needs.
- This is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on site work and flexibility to work from home.
Day to day Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing purchase orders.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Identifying suitable vendors.
- Evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts and terms.
- Ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing spend data.
- Supporting continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in procurement processes, including end to end sourcing and purchasing activities.
- Experience handling purchase orders and managing related documentation and approvals.
