Company Description
Store Makers – Middle East combines JWP Technical Services, HDD Interiors, and umdasch into one organization serving the Middle East.
The company provides technical services, interior fit-outs, and retail design solutions in a collaborative environment focused on quality and client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement from RFQ through purchase order and final delivery.
- Source and develop suppliers and subcontractors across the UAE and GCC.
- Handle joinery, metal, glass, stone, lighting, signage, upholstery, and installation works.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions.
- Prepare commercial comparisons and support procurement decisions with clear data.
- Track production and deliveries and address potential delays.
- Work with Projects, Estimation, Design, Production, and Finance.
- Support supplier performance, quality issues, and vendor development.
- Use ERP, Excel, AI, and other digital tools to improve procurement efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of procurement experience is required.
- Experience in interior fit-out, retail, joinery, or construction is preferred.
- Good understanding of the UAE supplier and subcontractor market is required; GCC exposure is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, commercial, communication, and supplier-management skills are required.
- Ability to manage multiple fast-moving project requirements.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.
- Comfort using AI and modern digital productivity tools.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
