Responsibilities
- Source and purchase building materials from local and international suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings
- Prepare and process purchase orders through the ERP system
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to maintain optimum inventory
- Identify and develop new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors
- Track purchase orders and ensure on time deliveries
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, shortages, pricing, and delivery delays
- Conduct market research to identify new products and pricing trends
- Prepare procurement reports and support continuous process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 5 years of procurement experience in the UAE building materials industry (Mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of building materials such as hardware, plumbing, electrical, construction chemicals, steel, cement, timber, insulation, safety products
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, and supplier relationship management
- Excellent negotiation skills with ability to secure competitive pricing
- Experience using ERP systems (Pact ERP preferred) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

Role Description
- The Procurement Specialist – Reality Building Materials Trading LLC Al Quoz Branch is a full time, on site position based in Dubai.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete procurement cycle for building materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and purchasing building materials from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Preparing and processing purchase orders through the ERP system.
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with sales and warehouse teams to maintain optimum inventory.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in the UAE building materials industry (Mandatory).
- Building materials procurement experience is essential. Candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of building materials such as hardware, plumbing, electrical, construction chemicals, steel, cement, timber, insulation, safety products, and related construction supplies.
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to optimize procurement costs.
- Experience using ERP systems (Pact ERP preferred) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced building materials trading environment and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Existing supplier network within the UAE building materials market.
- Strong understanding of local procurement practices, logistics, and import procedures.
- Ability to work independently and make commercial procurement decisions.
- Experience working with building materials trading companies is highly preferred.
