Procurement Specialist

• Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent degree, or 3+ years of military/education/relevant work/field experience combination is required.
• ISM or CIPS certification is preferred.
• 3+ years' experience negotiating purchase orders and subcontracts is preferred.
• Ability to travel 15-30%.
• Required Price and terms and conditions negotiation experience. Multi-tasks and able to prioritize project workload and category portfolio for the given fiscal year. Good at problem-solving and decision-making, including in scenarios where information is uncertain and timeframes are tight. Strong skills related to attention to detail and accuracy in written documentation when dealing with high volume workload Experience issuing and managing multiple RFPs across different technologies and stakeholders. Excellent time management, planning, and organizing capabilities. Good communicator (written and verbal) and able to build solid and effective relationships with team members, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. High level of competency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables), and PowerPoint).

Anticipated base salary range: $70,000 - $88,000

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

This position is bonus eligible.
