Responsibilities
- Manage end to end procurement of bulk and specialty chemicals
- Source chemicals from global suppliers across China, Germany, Europe, USA, India, South Korea, and the Middle East
- Handle procurement for chemical terminal operations, including bulk storage and inventory replenishment
- Source paints & coatings raw materials, resins, solvents, additives, pigments, monomers, and specialty chemicals
- Identify and develop new global suppliers
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and annual supply agreements
- Coordinate with logistics teams for import shipments and delivery schedules
- Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and inspection agencies
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and procurement KPIs
- Ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing inventory levels
- Prepare RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, and procurement reports
- Monitor global chemical market trends, raw material pricing, and freight movements
Requirements
- Extensive expertise in bulk chemical sourcing and specialty chemical procurement
- Hands on experience in procuring chemicals for manufacturing, chemical terminal operations, and trading businesses
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and global supplier management experience
- In depth knowledge of international trade, logistics, and Incoterms
- Experience sourcing paints & coatings raw materials, resins, solvents, additives, and specialty chemicals is highly preferred

Role Overview
