Role Description

  • We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage and optimize procurement activities that support the organization's operational and strategic objectives.
  • This role is responsible for sourcing goods and services, evaluating suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring timely and cost effective acquisition of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize procurement activities to support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Source goods and services, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Prepare and evaluate quotations, conduct supplier assessments, and issue purchase orders.
  • Monitor order fulfillment and ensure on time delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve procurement related issues.
  • Analyze purchasing trends, monitor inventory requirements, and support demand planning.
  • Prepare procurement reports, monitor KPIs, and maintain accurate purchasing records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, purchasing operations, and supplier management.
  • Knowledge of supplier evaluation, vendor qualification, contract administration, negotiation principles, and procurement best practices.
  • Familiarity with purchase order management, quotation analysis, RFQ, RFP, and RFI processes.
  • Understanding of inventory planning, demand forecasting, MRP, and supply chain coordination.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, and purchasing management platforms.
  • Knowledge of contract terms, commercial agreements, procurement compliance, and documentation management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and reporting tools.
