Job Summary
Manage sourcing, purchasing, supplier relationships, and timely, cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
The role is within the procurement and supply chain function and covers the Middle East and GCC.
Experience and Education
- Three to four years of procurement or supply chain experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, logistics, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Middle East or GCC experience is preferred.
Procurement Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and purchasing from requisition to delivery.
- Source suppliers, obtain quotations, conduct commercial comparisons, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Issue and monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
Coordination and Controls
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, finance, and operations teams.
- Monitor inventory requirements and support supply planning.
- Resolve supplier, delivery, quality, and invoice issues.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain procurement records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong supplier negotiation and vendor management skills are required.
- Knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory processes is required.
- Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel is required.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Arabic language capability and GCC market experience are advantageous.
