The Procurement Quality Control Supervisor will ensure all procured materials, equipment, and services meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and contractual requirements to support safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing: Supervise inspection and quality control of materials, equipment, and services procured for the airport project.
Verify that all procurement activities comply with project specifications, standards, and contractual obligations.
Develop and enforce procurement quality procedures, checklists, and reporting systems.
Conduct vendor qualification assessments, audits, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure suppliers meet quality standards and delivery schedules.
Monitor supplier corrective actions and maintain records of non-conformances and resolutions.
Plan and oversee inspection and testing activities for procured items, including certificates of compliance, factory acceptance tests, and site inspections.
Ensure timely identification and reporting of defects, deviations, or non-conforming materials.
Work closely with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate and auditable records of procurement inspections, approvals, and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, international standards, and project-specific quality requirements.
Prepare periodic quality reports and dashboards for management review.
Identify areas for process improvement in procurement quality control.
Implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and lessons learned to enhance quality and efficiency.
Train and mentor junior QC personnel on quality standards and inspection procedures.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) preferred.
