Responsibilities
- Review material requisitions and purchase orders for compliance with contract requirements
- Verify that all inspection requirements are included in material requisitions and adhere to relevant standards and regulations, such as SAMSS and SAEPs, as per Saudi Aramco requirements
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement policies and procedures
- Supervise and monitor the activities of procurement and material controllers to ensure timely delivery in compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements
- Develop and manage supplier relationships and contracts
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and services
- Source, identify, and evaluate potential new suppliers and vendors
- Develop and maintain supplier scorecards, ensuring adherence to organizational requirements
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and cost objectives are met
- Manage and coordinate the procurement process, including ordering, receiving, and invoicing
- Coordinate with inspectors or inspection agencies assigned to the inspection activities of P.O. materials
- Analyze the market and delivery systems to recommend strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Procurement QC
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- In depth knowledge of procurement and sourcing
