Procurement Project Manager

As a Procurement Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of one of the United Kingdom's most significant clean energy infrastructure programmes, Sizewell C. Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you'll lead the development and delivery of procurement strategies and plans that support the successful delivery of a major piping programme.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week based in Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available, and occasional travel to customer sites will be expected.

Leading the delivery of procurement strategies and plans to support the successful delivery of the Sizewell C piping scope.

Collaborating with project management, engineering, procurement, project controls and quality teams to achieve programme objectives.

Managing interfaces with major engineering, procurement and construction contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.

Supporting the development of delivery plans that optimise safety, schedule performance and project costs.

Identifying project risks and supporting the implementation of effective mitigation and risk management strategies.

Previous experience working in a project management and procurement-focused role.

Experience using NEC contracts and CEMAR contract management systems.

Experience managing and coordinating major engineering, procurement and construction contractors and supplier relationships.

Experience developing strategies that support health, safety and environmental risk reduction, schedule optimisation and cost efficiency.

Experience identifying project risks and supporting the development of risk assessments and mitigation plans.
