Full-time Procurement Planning Assistant / Specialist role based in the United Arab Emirates.
The role converts demand and inventory requirements into structured procurement plans aligned with forecasts, lead times, budgets, contracts, promotions, and business priorities.
Assistant-level work emphasizes schedules, requisitions, tracking, reporting, and coordination; Specialist-level work adds forecasting, optimization, scenario analysis, KPIs, and cross-functional planning.
Planning and Coordination
- Prepare procurement plans and translate approved demand and inventory requirements into purchasing requirements.
- Coordinate schedules with demand forecasts, inventory targets, supplier lead times, MOQ requirements, production capacity, delivery schedules, and budget constraints.
- Maintain calendars for replenishment, seasonal demand, promotions, product launches, contract renewals, and planned purchasing cycles.
- Review forecasts and escalate material changes, supply gaps, stockout risks, excess purchasing, MOQ issues, budget constraints, and delivery delays.
- Track procurement plan adherence, PO timeliness, supplier lead times, forecast accuracy, stockouts, excess inventory, spend, and budget variance.
- Prepare exception reports showing issues, impacts, root causes, actions, owners, and target dates.
