Role Overview
An Oil & Gas EPC operation in Qatar is seeking a Junior Procurement Officer.
The role supports procurement activities for Oil & Gas and EPC operations.
Level and Experience
- This is a junior-level opportunity.
- A minimum of 2 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas or EPC industry is required.
- Qatar experience is advantageous.
- Immediate or short-notice candidates are preferred.
Key Requirements and Duties
- Source materials, obtain quotations, and prepare comparison statements.
- Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, availability, delivery, and documentation.
- Assist with purchase orders, material follow-up, and procurement records.
- Use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for procurement work.
- Apply communication and negotiation skills in supplier coordination.
Education
- A relevant degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field is required.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 3,500–7,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work is in person in Qatar.
