Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities with multiple local and international suppliers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while sourcing and evaluating new suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and shipping arrangements
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and product quality
- Forecast product demand using sales history, seasonality, promotions, and market trends
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to maximize stock availability while minimizing excess inventory
- Generate purchasing, inventory, and stock performance reports
- Coordinate international shipments from suppliers to warehouse
- Assist with customs documentation, import/export requirements, duties, and shipping regulations
- Continuously improve procurement processes to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory planning, or supply chain
- Experience working with multiple suppliers and international procurement
- Strong knowledge of inventory forecasting and replenishment planning
- Experience using Shopify and inventory planning or forecasting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

Role Overview
- We are looking for a proactive and analytical Procurement Officer to manage purchasing and supplier relationships while ensuring our customers always have access to the products they need. This role is responsible for coordinating with local and international suppliers, forecasting inventory demand,
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities with multiple local and international suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while sourcing and evaluating new suppliers to improve pricing, availability, and product range.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and shipping arrangements.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and product quality.
- Resolve supplier issues and proactively prevent supply disruptions.
- Forecast product demand using sales history, seasonality, promotions, and market trends.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to maximize stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory reports and identify products at risk of going out of stock.
- Develop purchasing plans based on sales forecasts and supplier lead times.
- Recommend reorder quantities and timing to ensure continuous product availability.
- Work closely with the sales, warehouse, and marketing teams to prepare for promotions and new product launches.
- Manage inventory data within Shopify and inventory forecasting applications.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory planning, or supply chain.
