Responsibilities
- Oversee end to end procurement activities to support construction, marine, and engineering operations
- Source and evaluate suppliers
- Prepare and process purchase orders
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with project requirements
- Negotiate contracts and pricing
- Monitor supplier performance
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, finance, and operations teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels
- Optimize costs without compromising quality
- Adhere to company policies and compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements
- Strong skills in Procurement and Purchasing, with experience managing end to end sourcing and supply processes
- Hands on experience with Purchase Orders, including creation, tracking, and reconciliation within ERP or similar systems
- Proven Contract Negotiation skills, including vendor selection, pricing discussions, and agreement drafting
- Solid Analytical Skills to assess supplier performance, compare bids, perform cost analysis, and support data driven decisions
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role within construction, marine, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work in cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with procurement software/ERP systems, basic financial acumen, and commitment to ethical purchasing practices

Role Description
- The Procurement Officer is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing end to end procurement activities to support construction, marine, and engineering operations.

- The role involves negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, finance, and operations teams to forecast material needs, manage inventory levels, and optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Adhere to company policies, compliance with relevant regulations, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Procurement and Purchasing, with experience managing end to end sourcing and supply processes.
