Role Description
- The Procurement Officer is a part time hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on site work and work from home flexibility. Responsible for managing procurement activities related to event operations, including sourcing vendors, obtaining quotations, and raising purchase orders for goods and servi
Day to day Tasks
- Evaluating supplier proposals
- Negotiating contracts and commercial terms
- Monitoring delivery schedules
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services
- Maintaining accurate procurement records
- Tracking budgets
- Supporting compliance with organizational policies
- Contributing to cost optimization and quality standards across all purchasing activities
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, with experience managing sourcing cycles and vendor relationships
- Expertise in purchase orders and contract negotiation, including drafting, reviewing, and administering supplier agreements
- Solid analytical skills to compare quotations, analyze costs, and support data driven procurement decisions
- Relevant experience in events, marine, hospitality, or related industries is beneficial
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross functional teams and external suppliers
- Proficiency in standard office software and basic procurement or ERP tools is an advantage
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred
