About the Role

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and quality products
- Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and service orders
- Obtain quotations, compare supplier offers, and prepare commercial evaluations
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment
- Track purchase orders and ensure on time delivery
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing
- Maintain supplier databases and procurement records
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when necessary
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements
- Assist in vendor registration and supplier performance evaluations
- Maintain and manage all project documents, including drawings, technical specifications, contracts, correspondence, reports, and submittals
- Ensure proper document numbering, filing, revision control, and distribution

Key Responsibilities Document Control
- Maintain and manage all project documents, including drawings, technical specifications, contracts, correspondence, reports, and submittals.
- Ensure proper document numbering, filing, revision control, and distribution.
- Receive, register, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy document filing systems.
- Track document revisions and ensure only current approved documents are in circulation.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding document submissions.
- Prepare document transmittals and maintain document registers.
- Archive completed project documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company and project documents.
Required
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement and document control, preferably in an engineering and construction company.
