Position Overview
JG Architecture is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager / Supervisor.
The role oversees purchasing activities, supplier management, cost control, and procurement operations.
The position is responsible for timely product availability, competitive pricing, quality, and supplier standards.
Procurement Responsibilities
- Oversee daily procurement and purchasing activities and develop strategies aligned with business needs, budgets, and cost targets.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Compare quotations, pricing, product specifications, and supplier proposals.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, contracts, and other commercial terms.
- Manage purchase requests, quotations, approvals, purchase orders, deliveries, and documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships with key suppliers and business partners.
- Coordinate purchasing requirements with operations, finance, warehouse, management, sales, and other departments.
- Monitor inventory, stock requirements, lead times, and reorder points.
- Follow up on orders and resolve delivery discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages, and quality issues.
- Coordinate with finance and suppliers on invoices, payments, pricing discrepancies, and purchasing issues.
