EQUANS ANZ seeks a Procurement Manager with marine maintenance service experience to manage procurement and spare parts coordination for HVAC and refrigeration projects. The role involves sourcing, quoting, logistics, and supplier management.

Responsibilities
- Source and procure spare parts, HVAC/R materials, and technical equipment in line with marine project specifications
- Prepare accurate and commercially competitive quotations applying HVAC/R technical knowledge
- Support the service department with spare parts identification, technical clarifications, and solution proposals
- Manage client communications regarding quotations, lead times, parts availability, and logistics
- Coordinate internally with service technicians, project managers, and commercial teams to align procurement with service schedules
- Handle invoicing, documentation, and payment follow up processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, marine industry standards, OEM recommendations, and relevant trade regulations
- Oversee domestic and international logistics including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and deliveries
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and OEMs to negotiate pricing, improve lead times, and secure after sales support
- Identify and implement cost saving measures and process improvements
- Maintain accurate procurement records, update systems, and provide regular progress reports to management
Requirements
- HVAC/R Technician background with marine experience, progressing into procurement or service support roles
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems within the marine environment
- Experience in procurement, spare parts coordination, logistics, or technical service support
- Proven ability to track purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and report on logistics status
- Competence in managing domestic and international freight, customs, and delivery coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work independently in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in Xero and ApprovalMax for purchasing, invoicing, and approvals management
- Refrigeration Handling Licence (ARC) and/or Restricted Electrical Licence is highly desirable
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
