About the Role
Fresh Prep is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead ingredient sourcing and purchasing for a sustainable meal kit delivery company. You will oversee a team of purchasers, drive strategic sourcing initiatives, and optimize procurement workflows.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct leadership, mentoring, and coaching to a team of ~6 Purchasers
- Oversee end to end ingredient sourcing and purchasing process aligned with weekly Operations, Quality and Culinary requirements
- Serve as Purchasing Department SME in cross functional meetings
- Proactively identify and lead strategic sourcing and supply chain transformation initiatives including RFPs, vendor consolidation, and offshore supply sourcing
- Monitor, track, and report on department KPIs regarding spend, inventory health, and supplier performance
- Proactively troubleshoot procurement challenges and supply chain disruptions
- Manage and maintain productive supplier relationships ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Design, build, and optimize procurement workflows and internal tech stacks using AI and data analytics
- Ensure appropriate policies and standard operating procedures are established and maintained
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in a fast paced, high volume environment (foodservice, retail, or manufacturing)
- Proven track record of leading high impact sourcing initiatives including end to end RFP management, vendor selection, and supply base rationalization
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable procurement systems
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust based relationships with cross functional stakeholders and external suppliers
- Experience using AI and advanced data modeling for supply chain insights
- Post secondary degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- English fluency is required
