Responsibilities
- Lead the transition from manual, decentralized purchasing requests to a unified, centralized procurement software system
- Develop and enforce comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and approval matrices for all procurement activities across the group
- Establish and manage a centralized supplier database to facilitate efficient price comparisons, contract management, and vendor performance tracking
- Oversee the daily operations of the Procurement team, ensuring equitable workload distribution and eliminating single points of failure
- Coordinate closely with all departments to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and operational needs
- Identify, negotiate, and secure favorable terms with local and international suppliers, contractors, and service providers
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure best value without compromising on quality or compliance
- Address and resolve bottlenecks related to contractor payments and supply chain disruptions in collaboration with the Finance department
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, local regulations, and industry best practices
- Generate regular reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, vendor performance, and operational efficiency for leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is highly preferred
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably within a large conglomerate, real estate, or hospitality sector in the GCC region
- Proven track record of successfully implementing centralized procurement systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle) and establishing departmental SOPs from the ground up
- Experience managing complex vendor relationships and negotiating high value contracts
- Strong leadership and change management skills
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem solving abilities
- High proficiency in digital procurement tools and data analytics
- Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable

Position Overview
- The Procurement Manager will be responsible for centralizing, standardizing, and overseeing all purchasing activities across Al Emadi Enterprises and its subsidiaries.
- This is a transformative role designed to address current operational bottlenecks by establishing a unified procurement system, building a robust supplier management database, and implementing clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- The ideal candidate will transition our procurement processes from fragmented, manual workflows to a streamlined, technology driven operation that ensures cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Procurement & System Implementation
- Lead the transition from manual, decentralized purchasing requests (e.g., WhatsApp, email) to a unified, centralized procurement software system.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and approval matrices for all procurement activities across the group.
- Establish and manage a centralized supplier database to facilitate efficient price comparisons, contract management, and vendor performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership & Team Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the Procurement team, ensuring equitable workload distribution and eliminating single points of failure.

- Identify, negotiate, and secure favorable terms with local and international suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, local regulations, and industry best practices.
- Generate regular reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, vendor performance, and operational efficiency for leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements: Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is highly preferred.
Qualifications & Requirements: Experience
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably within a large conglomerate, real estate, or hospitality sector in the GCC region.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing centralized procurement systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle) and establishing departmental SOPs from the ground up.
