Responsibilities
- Source and procure fragrance oils, alcohol, chemicals, and production raw materials
- Manage sourcing of packaging materials including bottles, caps, pumps, labels, cartons, gift boxes, and display packaging
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules
- Identify alternative suppliers and implement cost saving initiatives
- Prepare procurement plans based on sales forecasts, production schedules, and retail replenishment requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to avoid shortages or excess inventory
- Coordinate closely with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Retail Operations, R&D, and Finance teams
- Manage international shipments from purchase order to final delivery
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and customs brokers
- Handle import/export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Certificates of Origin, and customs clearance requirements
- Optimize freight costs and ensure timely deliveries
Requirements
- Experience in perfume/cosmetics/personal care manufacturing industries
- Proven experience in end to end procurement and supply chain management
- Knowledge of international logistics and import/export procedures
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to manage indirect procurement for various categories
- Experience with procurement planning based on sales forecasts and production schedules
