Role Overview
The Procurement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar.
The role manages end-to-end procurement activities for HVAC/R and related projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop procurement plans and obtain competitive quotations to support project timelines and budgets.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with engineering, projects, and finance teams.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and support continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Have strong procurement and purchasing experience covering sourcing and end-to-end processes.
- Demonstrate supplier evaluation and vendor management capability.
- Be proficient in contract negotiation and contract management.
- Have analytical skills for cost analysis, market research, and data-driven decisions.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional procurement or supply chain certifications are an advantage.
- HVAC/R or GCC construction and engineering experience is preferred.
- Have strong communication, interpersonal, ERP, procurement system, and MS Office skills.
- Be able to work on-site in Doha, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
