Procurement and Sourcing Tasks
- Research, select, and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery speed, and reliability.
- Negotiate favorable purchasing terms, pricing, and service level agreements to optimize the budget and reduce costs.
- Create, track, and reconcile purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment without disrupting operations.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to forecast product needs using historical data and market trends.
Inventory and Logistics Tasks
- Calculate and set minimum and maximum stock levels and Economic Order Quantities to prevent stockouts and overstock.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts to reconcile warehouse stock against database records.
- Inspect incoming shipments to verify quality and compliance with original purchase specifications.
- Maintain ERP, warehouse management, and asset tracking tools, including RFID or barcode systems, for real-time visibility.
Financial and Analytical Tasks
- Review purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, consolidate suppliers, and track corporate budget compliance.
- Track inventory turnover, carrying costs, forecast accuracy, and order fill rates to measure departmental efficiency.
Pay
- AED 5,000 to AED 7,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
Requirements
- Ability to manage supplier research, selection, and evaluation using quality, pricing, delivery, and reliability criteria.
- Knowledge of purchase order creation, tracking, reconciliation, and replenishment processes.
- Knowledge of stock optimization methods, including minimum and maximum levels and Economic Order Quantity.
- Ability to conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile warehouse stock with database records.
- Experience or familiarity with ERP systems, warehouse management software, and asset tracking tools.
- Ability to analyze purchasing data, supplier consolidation opportunities, and budget compliance.
- Ability to track inventory turnover, carrying costs, forecast accuracy, and order fill rates.
