Nordikae Studio is looking for a meticulous and strategic **Procurement Finance Specialist** to join our finance team in Doha.
This role will play a key part in managing the financial operations of procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency, and supporting budgetary and financial planning within the procurement function.
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis skills combined with a solid understanding of procurement and vendor management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial management of procurement activities, ensuring adherence to budgets, forecasts, and financial targets
- Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for savings and process improvements across procurement operations
- Prepare and track procurement budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals
- Collaborate with procurement managers and cross-functional teams to optimize cost-effectiveness and value creation
- Manage and monitor procurement-related accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments
- Analyze financial data related to supplier contracts and vendor negotiations, offering recommendations for cost-saving initiatives
- Prepare and present financial reports and procurement performance data to senior management
- Monitor and assess procurement spend trends, providing actionable insights to control costs and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in procurement activities
- Assist in internal audits and provide necessary documentation for procurement-related financial audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in procurement finance, cost analysis, or a related financial role within a procurement function
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, budgeting, and cost management strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software (experience with ERP systems is a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and procurement cost tracking
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers
Preferred Skills
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CIMA, or similar finance/accounting certifications
- Experience in a creative, design, or studio environment is a plus
- Familiarity with procurement software and financial modeling tools
- Knowledge of financial regulations and procurement compliance
