Role Overview
Manage procurement activities for real estate construction projects, including purchase orders, delivery coordination, inventory tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
Procurement Responsibilities
- Create accurate purchase orders and work orders based on approved requisitions and BOQ limits.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and site engineers to expedite deliveries.
- Ensure materials arrive on site without disrupting project schedules.
- Monitor material consumption on site and track inventory levels.
- Prevent material stockouts and excessive overstocking.
- Cross-check vendor invoices against Delivery Challans, weighbridge slips, and Quality Inspection reports before forwarding them for payment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of civil materials.
- Proficiency in BOQ tendering and bidding, including preparing RFQs, RFPs, comparative statements, and technical bid evaluations.
- Knowledge of standard construction contracts, work orders, payment schedules, and statutory or regulatory compliance.
