Responsibilities
- Procure competitive freight rates directly from major airlines, shipping lines, NVOCCs, and consolidators
- Maintain strong industry relationships to ensure space availability and best pricing across air and sea modes
- Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and related documentation
- Provide up to date market information on new services, special charges, and withdrawn services
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international shipping
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Fluent in English and local language
- Familiarity with basic budgeting and vendor management
- Good communication and coordination ability
- Knowledge of Logy sis or any accounting software
