Job Description
Bazaar General Trading is hiring a motivated and results-driven Procurement Executive for its general trading operations.
The role focuses on sourcing opportunities, supplier relationships, and product portfolio expansion across apparel, cosmetics, electronics, gaming, and small home appliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate high-margin sourcing opportunities across apparel, cosmetics, electronics, gaming, and small home appliances.
- Source, vet, and onboard international and domestic suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, and payment terms.
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles for multi-category inventories.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and product quality.
- Coordinate with quality assurance and compliance teams to meet local regulatory and safety standards.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer demand to optimize product mix and inventory turnover.
- Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.
- Collaborate with sales, retail, and warehouse teams to forecast replenishment needs and prevent stockouts.
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience in retail sourcing in the UAE and internationally.
- Experience in electronics, home appliances, or general trading is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A target-driven approach with a confident and positive attitude.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Arabic is an advantage.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
