Procurement Engineer – Civil

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for civil and fit-out projects.
• Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for civil, construction, and fit-out materials.
• Obtain quotations, prepare RFQs, comparison sheets, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

• Ensure timely procurement aligned with project schedules, material submittals, and approved budgets.
• Maintain vendor databases and monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery reliability.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, design, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Utilize ERP systems, digital procurement platforms, and
• AI-based sourcing tools
• to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor market trends (GCC – UAE – China) to secure competitive pricing and ensure cost-effective sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in

Civil Engineering

• or a related discipline.
• Minimum
• 4+ years of UAE experience
• as a Procurement Engineer in civil/construction & fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and sourcing channels across
• GCC, UAE, and China markets

• Proven expertise in negotiation, communication, vendor management, and international procurement.
