Role Overview
The Procurement Engineer reports to the Head of Procurement and joins the team based in Doha, Qatar.
The role supports procurement and subcontracting activities for project and proposal requirements.
Contract Duration
- The contract duration is 12 months and may be extended.
- The stated starting date is as soon as possible.
Job Description
- Support the Head of Department and Project Management in managing buyers, expeditors, and logistics coordinators.
- Support preparation of procurement and subcontract plans, procedures, and related project documentation.
- Prepare supplier and subcontractor prequalification dossiers.
- Review scopes of work and material requisitions for tendering.
- Prepare bidder lists and single-source justifications when needed.
- Issue invitations to bid, requests for quotation, and requests for information.
- Expedite proposals, offers, and quotations.
