Job Responsibilities
1-Responsible for RFQ, quotation comparison, and price negotiation for EPC projects, product sales projects, factory operations, and office-related materials.
Conduct multi-supplier quotation comparisons based on material category and procurement value, evaluating pricing, lead time, payment terms, and quality risks comprehensively.
2-Responsible for the issuance, amendment, and execution tracking of Purchase Orders (POs).
Coordinate with suppliers, project teams, factories, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery with the required quantity and quality.
Monitor critical and long-lead items, provide early warning on delivery risks, and promptly report potential impacts on project schedules.
3-Coordinate with the Finance Department on payment applications, reconciliation, and payment milestone control.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company approval procedures and authorization requirements.
4-Coordinate with project teams in preparing material submittals and collecting supplier technical documentation.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and local regulations, and continuously optimize procurement costs.
5-Monitor the quality performance of procured materials and participate in non-conformance handling, returns/replacements, and claim management.
6-Identify and evaluate new suppliers, and maintain the supplier database and approved vendor list (AVL).
7-Conduct forward-looking material planning and risk assessments for critical materials based on project and production schedules.
8-Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable local laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.
3–5 years of engineering procurement experience (including at least 3 years of local experience in the UAE), familiar with engineering material procurement processes and the UAE building materials market; candidates with local supplier resources are preferred.
Able to read basic drawings and technical specifications, and understand relevant technical standards and requirements for the project.
Strong negotiation and cost control capabilities.
Meticulous work, strong execution, and good team coordination and communication skills.
In good health with no sudden illnesses.
