Role Overview
THE CODE DESIGN & FITOUT is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fit-Out Quantity Surveyor in Dubai.
The role manages commercial and contractual aspects of interior fit-out and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing for fit-out projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, tender documents, and scopes of work.
- Prepare and evaluate tender packages and subcontractor enquiries.
- Compare supplier and subcontractor quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.
- Monitor project costs and identify potential overruns.
- Prepare and evaluate variations, claims, and additional works.
- Measure completed works and prepare monthly progress valuations.
- Review and certify subcontractor payment applications against site progress.
- Coordinate commercial matters with project, site, procurement, and accounts teams.
- Maintain records of quantities, costs, purchase orders, contracts, variations, and payments.
- Assist with final accounts, site verification, tendering, and estimating activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
