Role Description
Lead the organization’s procurement strategy, sourcing activities, supplier management, contract negotiations, and purchasing operations.
Work with senior management, finance, operations, suppliers, and internal departments to improve cost efficiency, quality, compliance, and supply reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, procedures, and annual plans.
- Lead sourcing, purchasing, tendering, and supplier selection activities.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, negotiations, contracts, and renewals.
- Establish procurement KPIs and monitor cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize purchasing processes.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and commercial agreements.
- Oversee purchase orders, procurement approvals, and purchasing documentation.
- Coordinate with finance, operations, logistics, project, and other departments.
- Monitor market conditions, supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and material availability.
- Manage procurement risks and develop alternative sourcing and contingency strategies.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, budgets, and applicable regulations.
- Implement procurement systems, automation, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
