Role Overview
The Procurement Director leads procurement strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing operations.
The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier performance, compliance, and reliable supply.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Lead sourcing, purchasing, tendering, and supplier selection.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, performance, pricing, and commercial agreements.
- Monitor procurement costs, KPIs, savings, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Oversee purchase orders, quotations, bids, and tenders.
- Coordinate procurement with finance, operations, and project teams.
- Monitor supplier markets, pricing, materials, and industry trends.
- Identify supply risks and develop alternative sourcing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Improve procurement processes, systems, and efficiency.
- Prepare procurement reports and management recommendations.
- Lead, develop, and manage the procurement team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
