Role Overview
The company is seeking a proactive and organized Procurement Coordinator to support procurement within MEP contracting operations.
Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare purchase orders from approved material requisitions and follow up on supplier deliveries to project sites.
- Assist in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining comparative quotations.
- Track order status and resolve delays or discrepancies.
Records and Stakeholder Coordination
- Maintain records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Coordinate invoice verification and payment processing with the accounts department.
- Liaise with site and store teams regarding material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Maintain vendor database and pricing records and support procurement reports for management.
- File and maintain procurement documentation accurately.
Requirements
- Diploma or any relevant educational qualification.
- Minimum one year of experience in procurement or a coordination role.
- Experience in building construction or trading companies is preferred.
