Procurement Contract Manager Associate - Edmonton

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of contracts and supplier relationships that support business operations.
• Lead sourcing activities and contract negotiations to deliver value and mitigate risk.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement solutions.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing data to support sourcing decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost, service, quality, and supplier performance.
• Support the development and execution of category and procurement strategies.
• Monitor contract compliance and manage contract amendments, renewals, and pricing updates.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve commercial and supply-related challenges.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, processes, and controls.
• About You
• Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 0–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, contract management, or a related commercial role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and results oriented.
• Preferred Qualifications
• SCMP or similar procurement/supply chain designation.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships would be an asset.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Manufacturing, or other industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes and contract management practices.
• Experience supporting capital projects, maintenance, operations, or materials procurement would be an asset.
