Role Description
Support supply chain operations, vendor interactions, and operational purchasing workflows.
Work with Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and external suppliers to procure goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively.
Report to the Procurement Manager or Purchasing Lead.
Procurement Operations
- Process purchase requisitions and issue approved purchase orders.
- Convert requisitions, match delivery orders, and audit vendor invoices.
- Track delivery schedules and maintain key vendor databases.
- Obtain comparative supplier quotations and compile comparative pricing sheets.
- Conduct initial quality checks and resolve delivery discrepancies.
Inventory and Supplier Management
- Monitor safety stock thresholds, reorder points, and lead times for goods and raw materials.
- Source vendors and coordinate basic vendor performance reviews.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and support purchasing workflows.
