Role Description
This is a full-time remote role supporting end-to-end purchasing activities for Women 3.0 Awards.
The role supports timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain procurement records and documentation.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and obtain quotations.
- Monitor inventory or supply needs, update procurement systems, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist with basic contract and price negotiations under guidance.
- Contribute to process improvements, procurement-policy adherence, and management reporting.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of purchasing processes and basic procurement policies.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and managing purchase orders in procurement or purchasing systems.
- Practical knowledge of vendor coordination and sourcing goods and services.
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, accurate data entry, and ability to organize multiple requests and deadlines.
- Comfort using spreadsheets, online procurement platforms, collaboration tools, and other office software.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and follow established procedures and ethical standards.
