Role Description
This full-time remote role supports end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for community operations and events.
The role coordinates purchasing work with vendors, internal stakeholders, and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor procurement requests, compare prices and terms, and help improve purchasing cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Track budgets for events and initiatives and update procurement documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement workflows.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of purchasing processes and practical experience with purchasing activities.
- Ability to prepare, review, and manage purchase orders accurately and on time.
- Knowledge of procurement principles, vendor coordination, and basic contract terms.
- Strong communication skills for suppliers, internal teams, and community stakeholders.
- Good organization and time management for handling multiple requests and deadlines.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools, including spreadsheets and document management tools.
