Role Overview
Entry-to-mid level procurement role supporting supply chain operations, vendor interactions, and operational purchasing workflows.
The position reports to the Procurement Manager or Purchasing Lead and works with Operations, Warehouse, Finance, logistics providers, and suppliers.
The role is full-time.
Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and issue approved purchase orders.
- Track delivery schedules and resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor databases, purchasing logs, and supplier records.
- Obtain supplier quotations and prepare comparative pricing sheets.
- Perform initial quality checks and match delivery orders with vendor invoices.
- Monitor safety stock, reorder points, and supplier lead times.
- Coordinate with internal teams, logistics providers, and external suppliers.
- Support vendor performance reviews and supplier relationship management.
- Maintain procurement records for governance, compliance, and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, procurement, business administration, or a related field.
- Practical experience with purchase orders, purchase requisitions, delivery orders, and vendor invoice auditing.
