Job Summary
As a Procurement Assistant at IEF , you will be responsible for supporting the procurement team in the acquisition of materials, services, and equipment required for curtainwall façade projects. This role focuses on processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
Accountabilities
Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and procurement documentation.
Maintain accurate supplier and material records in the procurement system.
Coordinate with suppliers for order confirmations, deliveries, and lead times.
Track inventory data and report discrepancies to procurement leadership
Support the procurement team with administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and responding to basic vendor and internal inquiries.
Verify documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- ? High School Diploma or Equivalent
- ? Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- ? 0-2 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction or facade industries.
- ? Ability to learn procurement systems and procedures
- ? Relevant internships or coursework may be considered
