Procurement Assistant

Role Description The Procurement Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

This role supports the procurement team in managing purchasing activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of suppliers and materials.

The Procurement Assistant will assist in obtaining and evaluating quotations, monitoring inventory levels for raw materials and supplies, and coordinating with internal departments to understand requirements and timelines.

The role also involves communicating with vendors, resolving order discrepancies, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to cost-effective procurement decisions.

• Strong understanding of purchasing and procurement processes, including experience handling Purchase Orders.
• Solid Analytical Skills to compare quotations, assess supplier performance, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers in a clear, professional manner.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate documentation, record keeping, and follow-up on orders.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain or logistics concepts; prior experience in manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage.
• Proficiency with office productivity and ERP or procurement software tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Ras al-Khaimah, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• An additional advantage for those with factory work experience.
• An additional advantage for those with experience in the tobacco and cigarette industry.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
