Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Corporate has an exciting new opportunity for a part-time Procurement Analyst on a 1 year Contract, with the possibility of extension.

The successful applicant will gain experience through on-the-job training and by performing essential work duties for the Corporate Procurement Department based out of our Kitchener office.

The successful hire will work 3 days a week on a 1-year contract out of our Kitchener office.

Hourly Rate: $35/hr to $45/hr

Essential Responsibilities

1-5 years of relevant experience
University or College degree in relevant field (BBA, MBA, HBA) or APICS CPIM Certification
Experience dealing with customs brokerage for imports and exports.
Solid understanding of P2P (procure to pay), procurement best practices, and commercial terms
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills including MS Excel: Intermediate to advanced skill with Pivot Table, Micros, IF functions, Vlook up, name ranges etc.
Organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent priorities
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to build strong working relationships with diverse suppliers, service providers, and colleagues
Strict attention to detail, ability to balance numerous tasks and meet tight deadlines
Flexible to a changing environment
Ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot problems that may arise.
Ability to collect, analyze qualitative data
